How to export MIDI track in Sonar as an external midi track

Here's the situation. I have a song in Sonar which I use midi to trigger samples in Battery for the drums. Now, I have been asked to send someone the "midi" track so that they can change the drums. The problem? I don't know how to separate the midi track (or export it) as a stand alone midi track? Any help?

You know, I tried that but to no avail. I've highlited the midi track and the "Midi Groove CLip" selection under Export is not bolded so I can't choose it. Any other ideas?

Select the clip you want to export, not the track. If you have multiple clips, combine them into a single one first.
