I just go my Sonar 6 and maybe I could start collecting some VST effects from now.

Any good website or reccomendation on VST ?

http://www.kvraudio.com/ has a search feature. I'd bet 90% of the plugins I use I found here. Almost all of the ones I never use are from there too

5 threads down from yours is one about Pro Audio & VST wrappers. There are a couple of posts through there that have links to FREE VSTs. Just be sure to trawl through the whol thread & try all the links.

If you are looking for VST effects, give the Kjaerhous (?sp) suite a try. They are well regarded.

There are a million and one VST effects out there. The question is, what will you actually use? A good idea is to practice using the standard effects (EQ, compression, chorus, delay, reverb) so you get to learn how to use them, then go searching for extra VST effects if you need something more.

Why not just start using the Sonitus suite that comes with Sonar?

Yeah they've made the classic series freebies. Also try out the fish fillets.
