midi/audio question
I notice that when I mix down a song with a lot of midi it take a lot longer than mixing down audio projects. I always thought audio were bigger files overall. I believe they take more space on C drive. Maybe Large files taking up C drive space has nothing to do with speed of mixdown?

Its the processing of midi files, not the files themselves which is causing the performance hit. Making virtual instruments make sound is what the most processor intensive
