Sub $100 kick mic (backup to main kick)
I've got an ATM25 and would like to add a second kick that has an extended high freq response to pick up more beater. There are a lot of low cost kick mics (sub $100) that claim do this well. Have you had direct experience with any of them?
These guys an example: http://www.avantelectronics.com/AMK.htm |

Never heard or seen that brand before, but the shape looks familiar. Let us know what you think of it if you buy one. The price is very attractive!
