headphones

hey, i was wondering if anyone knows how to "sound proof" headphones, I've got a pair of wireless headphones for my drummer so he could have a click track, the only problem is that the headphones leak ALOT of sound, especially at the high frequencies of a click track. ( want to use the wireless headphones becouse the drummer has a habbit of some how getting tengaled in the chords (and also hitting my presius tom mics....))

any one know how to do this?

ps. or is it better to invest in some actual "drum headphones"
(though i am poor, i don't mind spending a bit to get a better mix.)

I've heard of some guys using ear buds inside a pair of those ear muffs that people use at shooting ranges. Never tried it myself but it makes sense.

I think the Extreme Isolations can be had for around $80.00 now. Just a thought.......

Ja, check up on isolation headphones. I'll be getting myself some from Front End Audio sometime soon.

I use these and they're great, they're very snug on the skull and they reduce in/out going noises. One of my friends uses them too and he's a crazy headbanging drummer and is quite pleased with them.Check these out, I paid about 80$ CDN with taxes and all, they're designed for drummers too.
