I think if I could work out how to take the sounds out of the Ddrum midi samples at their site, I would be set forever as far as drum samples go. What I want to know is, how can I access the midi file without having the Ddrum module? I'm sure its pretty simple, but I can't open the drum samples with Winamp, so I think its a bit tougher than I first thought. Do I need a specific program to access the file?

It's probably possible some way or another. However, please not that it also is illegal. You would be stealing the sound these guys have put down a lot of effort and money in making. And these are nice guys, that are in the business of making electronic instruments because they like it, not to make money.
