International CD Shipping w/ PayPal (!@#$%^&*)

What is up with this, man?

My CD just came out. 4 years in the works...Sounds great. To sell it & keep the profit (i.e., not pay amazon 60% or CDbaby $4 each)...I have a PayPal button on the sales page of my website that links to a PayPal custom payment page. But the only shipping options for PayPal are fixed & percentage !@#$%^&*

What if someone from red china or australia or chile or france wants to buy the CD?

Right now...I have my (PayPal) shipping costs configured @ $1.75, so as to cover the cost of the packaging & USPS first class mail to anywhere in the continental U.S.

But I would like some sort of international postage calculation option. What can I do? Is there some way to set this up? I would shitcan PayPal & figure out how to do my own shopping cart page on my site...but the whole world loves PayPal. Can I do my own shopping cart, affiliate myself w/ the major credit cards & also use PayPal? (but...there's still the no international options thing.)

Does anybody know if PayPal can be configured for international shipping?

we have basically 3 different options


since a member of our group is in the UK, we have an option for US customers, UK customers, and others.


so each paypal text link reflects the option..

we charge extra shipping in the text link itself that is connected to "OTHER"
here is an example of making the links with 3 different shippings
