firebox crash, crash please help

Installed the Firebox w/o problem. Plays .wav/mp3 files through media player fine. When I open Cakewalk Home Studio 2002 my computer crashes bad (teenager in daddy's camaro kinda crash).
Crash examples:
-if I click on a cakewalk file to open.
-if I choose a New Cakewalk project it crashes as soon as I click the Record button.
-if I import a .wav file it crashes as soon as I hit play.

Using same 44.1 on Firebox/Cakewalk at which it was recorded.

Using Windows XP on a HP w/: Pentel 4 3.00 GHz
512MB memory
200GB 7200 RPM ultra DMA harddrive.
Please help me.
Steve

Thanks for the responses. I was using HS 2002--no ASIO driver support and only 1 input at a time. Upgraded to Sonar HS 4XL and Audio working fine now. Now just trying to figure out how I can hear the MIDI.

I just saw your thread about not hearing midi on Home Studio. Sorry I am of no help here, I have the same problem with my new Firebox. I appears that I can record midi OK, because I see the note being generated when I play the notes, but I can't hear them. I don't see many options in the mixer that could be the source.

I'd appreciate if you could post if you have any success. I'll keep trying myself and let you know if I get it working. Good luck.

Scott...
