can you nudge an item in cubase like you can in DP and Protools? Is there a shortcut to move a highlighted region a ms or sample or whatever without having to click and drag?

Hi,
I'm pretty sure there isn't. I think the general consensus is set your tempo tracks and engage snap to grid. Anyone else? |

There is a nudge functioon but it doesnt nudge waves it nudges the transport line. There must be a way to nudge audio though ,would semm real silly to make such a great programme without a nudge functiion.

well if the project was done in time..you could always set it to bars & beats mode and just highlight what you want to drag.
It'll then move it in bars or beats..whichever you selected. Thats what i do. ![]() |

If you're talking about wavs...
You can "offset" or adjust the start time on the wav. All you have to do is click on the wave, then go to the inspector and punch in how much you want to offset. For example, if you wanted to offset by 5ms, you'd adjust the last three "000" to "005". |

There IS a nudge feature for this
Directly from the manual:
"The Nudge buttons are not visible in the toolbar by default. You can decide which items should be visible by right-clicking (Windows) or [Ctrl]-clicking (Mac OS X) in the toolbar and checking them in the pop-up menu that appears. See page 767 for more information." |
