hey anyone got a big fat snare sample for me???

a nice thick juicy sounding one....all i've been able to find are little piccolo sounding things

thanks a lot for the tips guys...
i haven't had to find samples in a long while, and back when i used to be on the search for them, i would find absolutely nothing worthwhile...

all so thin sounding and crappy...

hard to believe that there isn't any GOOD free samples

Cool - it was my first time creating samples.

A Drummer friend of mine has a KILLER drumkit, including the VP and a Masterworks snare. He wanted me to make some samples, so I miced the crap out of each of the snares, blended the mic tracks to taste, and dumped them. They are totally unproccessed, so they really come to life with a bit of eq and comp.

Get Andy Sneaps samples - the Toms are pretty good too - the snare and kick are incredible!
