Quick simple question
I was recording Cubase last night with a short drum beat and the little selectors on the timeline had this area of the drum beat highlighted. As I recorded bass between the selectors my recording cut out exactly at the point the selectors ended. "Great," I thought, "This loops absolutely perfectly."
Today I tried to record in the same way - albeit my drum midi file was 4 minutes long - however, my recording would carry on until I hit the stop button. Is there anyway I can do what I did yesterday (I must have hit a button or something) and get the recording to automatically cut out when I want it to. it makes looping a whole fucking lot easier. Thanks in advance, Sammy. (oh and I did refer to the manual - found something on regions but nothing overly helpful). PPS. I'm running SX3. |

On your transport bar, there should be three buttons to control the following functions: punch-in, loop record, and punch-out. You want the "punch-out" feature activated.

Wow I love you Scrubs. Thanks. Must have turned that off by accident.

Which function would be good for recording one verse multiple times(for a near perfect take)? Loop record?
