BladeEnc?
My operating system crashed on my DAW hard drive...now I've finally got everything up and ready to go on the new one (managed to save all the song files...whew!!), but now I can't seem to get this stupid BladeEnc crap working in N-Track. WTF? Help!!

You can download the encoder, I think from a referral hyperlink on the Fasoft website. I had the same thing happen and it's a quick fix. Make sure the bladeenc ends up inside the n-track folder. But try a different encoder and see what happens.

Yep, did that too.
Correct version, installed and unzipped in the right place, and N-Track still acts like I don't have it installed when I try to do an mp3 conversion. There's gotta be something horribly obvious that I'm missing.'preciate you checking in here, Treeline.

What version are you running? V. 5 is getting updated with new builds almost continuously.
Frustrating stuff. In the meantime, try running an independent conversion program. I'd look for a Fraunhofer compression program; some of this is available as freeware. Virtuosa Gold is a $40 powerhouse. http://www.mp3-converter.com/encoder..._downloads.htm

OMFG, I totally suck.
Thanks for the help, Treeline...I'm even more of a morno than I originally thought...Apparently, in order to unzip files...it actually helps to have WinZip installed... I shouldn't be allowed to use a computer.
