Hi

I have recently upgraded to cubase 5 and have a Soundblaster Platinum card. I can't get the soundfonts to work in Cubase. The manuals really SUCK at explaining this. Could anyone help me by explaining what to do step by step?

Thanx

Pedro

Yeah, it took me a bit of effort to work this one out too. Make sure you've got your SF's loaded onto the SoundBlaster SoundFont manager. In Cubase, open the '(setup) instrument' within the inspector panel, there you assign the midi track to accept SoundFonts in 'Patchname Source'. Then from there it should be just a matter of clicking on Bank (where it says 'off') and select your SoundFont Bank. That's precicely what I have to do (using my SBLive) so if you have any problems it could be a hardware or software fault. Hope it works
