Question

HEY! whats up? well i am lost. I am an artist on mp3.com, and i have been making music using fruityloops for a while. I am working on getting a yamaha cs2x keyboard. and i want to use fruity for drums and stuff, but i want to use my keyboard for sounds and melodies. I have heard cakewalk can help me. Could someone please tell me how? i don't even know how to mix tracks together or record from my keyboard into my cpu,...please have mercy and help me my friends. THank you for taking time.

You will need to import your wav files from fruity to a sequencer or an audio recorder. Then record your synth parts into it and mix them together. Cakewalk is one there are others. you will need sound card to get your synth data into your computer and playback. There are ways of linking cakewalk and fruity together using midi yoke but there limitations on how they can be yoked together. Also if you use MIDI you will need an interface and midi cords. Fruity loops is a lot of fun....cakewalk can be a lot headaches...
