Transposing tab to sheet

Okay, I'm clueless.
I don't know how to read music, but I know a piano player (she's good too!) who is willing to write/play accompaniments for some of my songs, all I have to do is send her the sheet for the guitar.

I am THE most clueless person when it comes to this stuff too!
I know enough to request the correct string when I break it, and that's about it (slight exaggeration)!

Please, any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

There are some notation programs that will translate tab to standard notation. The trick is getting the tab in.

However, she probably just needs the chord changes and the melody, she can fill in the rest. Post the tab somewhere and you'll get help on notating the chords.

Guitar Pro or (for free) Power Tab. You can write the stuff in tab, and it will provide the music on a proper staff. At least I believe you can do that, never actually tried, but that's what it appears to be. Guitar Pro is the better program, but it's not free. They do have a demo that you can try out.
