Looking for a top top midi controller?

I have decided to run my whole studio from soft synths as they are cheaper than modules. But I want to send a lot on a midi controller not a basic one. The best one I don’t really have a budget for one but i have $15,000 to spend. Well $600 for a controller is fine maybe more. I don’t use a mac so will have to be compatible with pc i.e pro tools and cubase also ableton live. I looked at the ‘Novation ReMOTE 37 SL’ but thought there could be better ones out there and this made for logic really. Sorry for long thread. Please help me.

IMHO, i dont think your going to find a better controller than a Novation Remote. A midi controller is a midi controller, there is nothing program specific about it. The remote does have the unique feature that will automap whatever plugin you are using and that now supports PT also.

? I have no idea what you mean by that. Automap is NOT supported under logic AFAIK, but a midi controller works with anything, you just program your template with the controls you want and thats it.

I have used just about every midi controller on the market at some point or another (M-audio, evolution, kord, edirol, CME) and I really like the novations the best since they have excellent programming software, great displays, they have even drum pads in the SL controllers, and the action is the best out of any no weighted controller
