When I try to playback and mix a song in Cakewalk Guitar Tracks, the song will play a few choppy seconds before stoping altogether. I am in the Console view mode, using the virtual aux sends.

Is this a Settings issue, a Memory issue, a Processor issue, or something else.

Any help will be lauded.

David

Using Real Time Effects, particularly reverb, is very computer intensive.

It is likely your processor (you don't mention what chip you're running), although additional memory might also help.

There are settings, both in Windows and Cakewalk, that you can adjust that might help somewhat. Do a search on this board. I have seen this topic covered in other posts that cover it much better than I can.
