Oldie is on a distinguished road
My situation in a nutshell... basement studio (Vs 880, Mac running Master Tracks Pro Sequencer, EMU Proteus Sound Module... Living in the boondocks where drummers are rare (especially good ones). I've looked into Drumtrax and Beatboy programs. Can anybody tell me how good are they? Are there other programs out there? This is really my only option since a live, flesh and blood Drummer is out of the question. Thanks, anybody, for your help!

Try this

THere is a German company call Data Becker that has a 10 CD set out called Master Bits. It is only 50 bucks, and has tons of drum loops in many different styles. I highly recommend it. YOu can order it right off their website. I don't remember the URL, but I think it's
http://www.masterbits.com. Give it a try.
Good luck.
