Hmm...Owens-Corning Sono-batts, Acousti-batts Any thoughts?
While checking out the R values for 703, I came across some other products in the 700 series product line. Sono-batts and Acousti-batts. Any experience with these or are they rigid fiberglass basically with a higher price tag because of the specific application name?

I don't know...I'm dince, I'm high on the Lord, I wasn't thinking thoroughly, I don't know something you know but expect me to...crap, running out of reasons. Oh yeah, the truth... because I need to thermally insulate my room as well as treat acoustics. Rod, I need to thermally insulate my room so my equipment is not exposed to extreme temperatures. Now isn't 703, as well as being used for bass traps and excessive reflections along the walls, used between studs as well? If so, I would just like to know the thermal insulation value of what I'm putting there. If I'm all wrong, please correct me. I do need to thermally insulate the room, though, outer leaf to inner leaf, or face robust electric bills monthly. Sorry for the digression, so have you any experience on the referenced products. Just wondering what the difference is, if any but the name.
