If you cruise the surplus office supply places - particularly state or college surplus outfits - you may run across those steel / melamine printer stands. Take a close look - some are 19" from frame to frame and the structure is welded square steel tubing. I rigged up a neat rack with one of these and a couple of 3/4" plywood cutoffs - install some rack rails and you're in business. I found the tables for ten bucks apiece.
