FS: Shure SM85

I'm selling my Shure SM85 condenser microphone. Great sound - nice little low end action as well..makes vocals and acoustic guitars really sound full & exciting.

Shure no longer offers the downloadable product guide for this model online. Not sure why. Regardless, it requires phantom power & was made in the usa.

If you're interested in hearing a clip featuring this mic, check out the song 'Something New' by Jayme Salviati at this place

I can't remember the exact mic'ing i used for this recording. BUT, if memory serves I mixed a direct line from the guitar, an AT-3035 split between vocals and guitar, and the SM85 on the guitar probably aimed at the spot where the neck meets the body. Double tracked vocals were done on a mix from the 3035 feed & the SM85 feed.

Shipping will be from 15642 and will be delivered ups. Payment is to be made via paypal or usps money order. Item will ship after funds are made available. Packing will be professionally done.

$75/obo takes it.

Shure totally screwed up their website, which sucks because it used to be one of the best manufacturer sites

Got a pic?

I noticed their site is a little 'off' these days.

No pic until my roommate gets back from cleveland late sunday. I need his camera. I will definitely get one on here asap for you.

I'll even include a pic of your old love seat in it's new, northern atmosphere. She's very happy here & sends her love.

She wouldn't have liked it here, she'd be getting much too sandy. Plus she would have had to have ridden on top of the moving van
