Is it possible tp connect an FD-4 to and Adat using the digi i/o on the Fd-4. I connected the FD-4 to my uncle's Alesis adat for mixing but It would only transfer the left and right channels. I couldn't transfer individual tracks which defeated the point of using the adat. The Fostex FD-4 manual doesn't mention anything about bouncing onto and adat but it seems strange that the FD-4 has digi i/o and can't do this. Could someone help me out?
Thanks G.

I have an FD8, and I think you need to assign the digital out for Adat, as opposed to Sp/dif, which only sends 2 channels. You can find this somewhere in the different menus, I can't recall off the top of my head

I don't know if you need any out-board adapters or not.

Hope this is helpful
