bulk ultratouch shipment to the UK

Is anyone interested in putting money together to buy share in between 700 and 1280 cubic feet of bonded logic ultratouch, shipped from Brians company sensible sound solutions in the US, to the UK? I've worked out that i need, i think, around 90 cubic feet. Well about 17-20 of the 24"x94"x3.5" Cotton Bass Absorber, and i think that comes to around 90 cubic feet. I have nowhere near the money needed to buy in bulk, and basically no storage, apart from a possible area in a friends studio(not asked yet though), so we'd need to work out a way to get all the money together to pay brian, where noone gets to see anyone elses money. Is there such a thing? And work out a way to each get our share of the ultratouch.

Sorry if this is in the wrong section. The only other section i think i could put it in is the "Free Ads for Music / Recording Equipment", but i know I'm more likely to find people interested here.

i would provisionally be interested. but you'd have a fair job convincing me the practicalities and all the rest of that shnizzle was worth it, to be honest. how much would we be looking at for those kind of quantities, anyway? :?

I'm really not sure how much. I think it will be a lot less than buying from a UK company, i hope anyway. If it does work out dramatically cheaper, would you be interested. I'm unsure how we'd work out all the money and postage of material problems. Got any ideas? I'm very interested in this, but i can see it being a lot of work, and if it's not going to be much/any cheaper than a UK company then i won't do it. I'm waiting for an estimate from Brian, but won't need the material for some time, so there's no rush. How much will you be looking for?

Cheers

Lee

i haven't got a clue how it'd work, and i haven't really thought about how much i'd get - it depends on how much it would be!

*looks around* not many other people are looking all that interested, to be honest with you

I'm interested.

I wouldn't need too much though, I plan on making 4 corner traps and 2 or 3 2'x4'ish traps for the walls.

An indication of cost would probably prompt me to get off my arse and measure up how much I'd need.

There must be a way on paypal or something. Or maybe if we just all pay brian our share. Or if one buys it then sell it to the others. I don't have the kind of money needed though. Also one of us will have to recieve it n split it etc. I'd be willing to do this but i really don't have the room to store 8'x8'20' of ultratouch, lol. I might be able to store at a friends studio, like i said, but then you guys have to trust that i'll send it. I promise that i will, but i know it must be difficult to trust a guy you meet on a forum.
