calling all broadband members!

I am going to lay down a different bass track and remix this song in the next day or so. I was thinking if anyone wants to download this file and save it for an a/b that would be great. If you want to just listen you can go to www.funnelhead.net and go to the song "just like" ,but if you could jsut hit this link and save it it would be great.

If you have suggestions throw them up in the next day and I will look before remixing. I am for sure putting a deeper bass track in though.

It's a 6.16mb fill because it's a a hi quality mp3 it's 320 instead of 128.

Before you re-record, maybe look at cutting some of the mids from everything else...just a few db here and there. Then, maybe cut some highs from teh bass, to accentuate the lows. (you will probably have to boost the bass a few db to keep it in the mix...). If it's still missing the lows, then try to redo it. Just a thought, as it's decent, just a bit louder on the mids.

Thanks Dogman I will incorperate that into my thoughts. I did howerver record the bass direct and I really want to try micing it up. If you heard the bass solo you would have to laugh a bit I also wrote and recorded this in under 3 hours so I want to try to expand the bass line with out going overboard.

I am hoping to get a chance to work on it very soon.

I have some locals coming over in an hour to check things out. they want to see how it's done, so I will try to but together a new bass line while they are here. Then I will work on the mix.
