Anyone tried/use a Route 66?

I have their other pedals (JH and chorus echo thing) I love the build q. and the 2 effects in one pedal idea. Touhg on batteries though. I use ext. power. Anyway, the coupling of the compressor and overdrive is a great idea and it seem syou can set the comp (as with most) as a booster. Any thougts?? PS the Chorus Echo pedal sounds purrfect in front of my DRRI. Talk about glassy, liquid tone with Fender sparkle. A little niose but.

ive been obssesed with those visual sounds products since i first seen em. the route 66 is the only one ive played tho, but it was at a local music store, not through my personal rig. i did sound good through that 8 inch vox with one of those andy timmons ibanezs. i have been totaly obbsessed with the liquid chorus. i just can't bring myself to buy one with out playing it.

Slickspoon: I loooooove my liquid chorus. I have a "vintage" Boss ce-2 which is (it is agrued) considered a benchmark for chorus and the visual works just smokes it. THe JH is awesome also.

Here's my latest favorite setup done two ways: gtr-JH-chorus/delay-dry output-Marshall dsl 100-ab splitter-chan a-2 input Fender drri. B split output-pod xt-left/rt out of pod to Hafler poweramp-lft-mesa 12 ext cab, rt out to mesa 12 ext cab.

No. 2: Easy to carry and allows a wide range of sounds. gtr-splitter a/b, a side to JH-chorus/delay-input 2 on drri, b side output to pod-chan 1 drri. Good for not too loud stuff.

Also the dry output on chorus-mesa mk 111, wet output DSL 100. Who needs a distortion or overdrive in this set up. Lotsx of fun no matter how ya slice it. Get one. I think you could pick one up for about 150.00.

yea i think i'll just go ahead and break down and buy it. the reviews have all been good. and its has been a while since i've added a new pedal to my arsenal
