Unhappy

My Virtual Piano truly is virtual! The help files for my Guitar Studio 2 (just got it a week ago) say that it's under Tools/MIDI Devices, Input Ports dialog box, but the only thing there is "SB Live! MIDI In (AC00)" from my Live! Value sound card...I can't find the V. Piano!

Is this something that doesn't come with GS2, but is still in the Help files because it comes with something else, like Pro Audio or Home Studio?

I ask because right now I don't have a MIDI keyboard and I was looking forward to playing around with my computer's keyboard...

Also, is there a cheap way to MIDI-ize my Telecaster?

Thanks!!

The virtual piano is probably sitting on your cakewalk disk along with the CWAF tool and other goodies...thats where I discovered them after having Home studio for 6 months! MIDI guitars seem to be a pipe dream for the most part. There some software programs that claim to do it but few are happy with them. I'd just go down to the flea market and buy a key board for a few dollars...just look for midi in and out....

Thanks Kennedy, I really appreciate the feedback--I have searched for the Virtual Piano on my disk, but can't find it. I also reinstalled (Custom this time, choosing everything in sight) but that didn't work either...

What is CWAF? Can't find anything like that on my disk either. I can't believe they (Cakewalk) would give the Virtual Piano to the HS9, and not to GS2! Didn't I spend more for GS2? Isn't it more powerful?

Anyone with Guitar Studio 2 out there with the same prob?

Thanks again! Midi guitar info was good... thanks Kennedy. Looks like I need a keyboard one of these days...
