Hi, I'm in the process of building a vocal booth and I wanted to build a vent. system for the booth. I would like to know if any of you guys know how to do it without compromising the isolation. thx!

I'm afraid I can't help you out, but...

could you post some pics and tell us how you go about building your booth?

Cutting holes for vents is always going to comprimise your isolation somewhat. There are ways to build that are better than others, but just be aware it's all about balancing convenience with complete isolation.

Do a quick search for this, it's been discussed many times.

I don't have a vent in my vocal booth. Considered it but it was just too quiet to punch a hole in it. Gives the singer incentive to get it done right as soon as possible before he runs out of air One guy thought it was funny to fart in there. Sounded like Mt Saint Helen going off in the monitors and everyone elses headphones. I really thought he would puke before he could get out of there. Now that was funny...........
