I've been using cake for about a month now and have most of the bugs out. However, last night I tried to record three midi tracks with different horn patches to see how different sections would work. I had nothing else midi happening but couldn't get all three tracks to sound at once. Only one patch would play for all the tracks. I have the yamaha sw1000 card.
Hey Scott. I bought your book yesterday, maybe the answer is in there.
Thanks Frank

We may need a bit more info but: was the soundfont or module set up to receive on different channels and was Cakewalk set up to send on different channels?

Thanks for the reply RJT. The problem is solved and you are right. I did not set up the channels in Cake correctly. Every other recording I've done I've either imported the midi data or used a template. Stupid mistake, sorry.
