If you don't know of this guy you should. He has tape of all sizes, shapes, and makes. He has sealed-new and 1-pass stuff for super cheap. My latest purchase from him was 4 sealed reels of quantegy 407-1/4" x 7" x 1800' for $18 with shipping. He also threw in a free roll of 478 with the order.

With regards to Quantegy, on the other hand, it's really nice to know one can order their tapes online, whatever they currently make and not what a typical store stocks at the time. I love that Quantegy made that move, selling direct. It was a long time coming but I'm glad they did it. I'll order some 457 from them!

Yeah and I for one will not take tape availability for granted anymore. First there was none and now we have 2 with a 3rd one coming!
