FS: Fostex VF16 - $300 shipped
http://www.vf16.com for more details
I've been using this for a little bit over a year now and I can't find a single thing I dislike about it! 40G hard drive, 8 inputs/preamps (2 xlr w/ phantom power) and 8 more via lightpipe. I use this to record and then transfer the tracks to my computer via lightpipe to mix. I will really miss this if it sells, but I'm going on a road trip in a week and I'll need money more than a harddrive recorder when I'm on the road! Its in beautiful shape and comes with the manual.

if it has 8 inputs w/2 xlr's, can you track line & mic inputs simultaneously, or without having to physically unplug one to track the other?
the unit I have now (Zoom mrs1044) is cool but it won't record line-in unbalanced?) if anything's plugged into an XLR (balanced?) input--& vice versa |
