Since I'm on a Corps kick...

The Cadets drumline:

I particularly like how tight the tenor players are together.

Adding on here...

This one is particularly awesome. 18 guys so precise you can't hear any mistakes.

The ending in particluar is accurate as hell.

greenbaysucks is on a distinguished road
...

one of the drum instructors at my high school knows the guys who run the Cadets, and he showed us a few recorded rehearsals like that, and we were all dumbfounded.

So are you the mouth-breathing Renn-Faire reject, or the man-hating militant lesbian? What's your favorite accessory...the shiny white boots, or the fluffy feather cap?

I'm a former drum corps person (won nats in 79) and have plenty of respect for what these lines can do. However...

What does this have to do with home recording?

You can talk about whatever you want under each section head, not just recording. Playing techniques as well. I think this qualifies as examples of technique. Several guys have posted here in the past asking how to record marching percussion.

Visit the cave or visitors section and see how many topics have nothing to do with recording.
