Cubase LE Export Problem

OK, so I got Cubase LE running fine and every thing, I love working with it and all that, but have a seriouse problem. It won't let me export. Every time I try to export a song I get a message saying an error has occured during export, then I get nothing. Tried this with multiple songs, and asked around of those I knew who use it. I have all the settings right as far as I can tell. Any idea why this might not let me export anything.

Common Problem.

You haven't set the left and right locaters properly. They may be reversed, or sometimes they just don't select properly. You are after the line to be a brighter blue rather than pale.

Yeah, what he said... Unless you have set the locators, then it could be something else. Care to give a more in depth rundown?

Hmmmm.....my LE has a dialogue box which pops up if I have not set them properly, when I try to export. When did you purchase yours?

I tihnk I got it figured out. I was setting the markers manually, and for some reason it wasn't working. I went through it with a couple other people, and we found out that as long as I use the keystroke commands it works. Sooo... ctrl A, then P, then I can adjust it, and it works. Thanks all for the help.
