Just purchsed an ADK Hamburg to replace my MXL990. Actually a similar mic. The Hamburg has a lot more warmth in it though an clearer.

I recently picked up a used GT55. Nice mic. Probably the best one in my bag for vocals but I need to play with it some more.

Also, I like my Carvin LB75.

Now that that's outta the way, what i REALLY want to say is how much I like Patron Silver Tequila!!! It's goooood!

My last project was to take the capsule from an Oktava 219, put it in an MXL 2001 body with some inner screen removed, some reflective dampening material and then wired it with the Royer 5840 tube circuit.
