Cubase Softclip Compressor
I have some other good comps including UAD stuff and Voxengo. I still come back to putting Cubase's own softclip on the master buss once in a while. It seems like it kills some highs and lows, but it gives a pleasant smoothness to some material that reminds me of tape compression.
Anyone else like it? |

I've tried it a few times but... For soft clipping I'll used Magneto or DaTube. Seems a little better suited for my situation.
