linking two Fostex DMT8 mixer/records

First of all, I liked to wish a merry christmass and a wonderful & musical new year to you ALL !

Question :

Is it possible to link two DMT8 recorders to eachother ?
If so, do they act together as one single recorder ?

yes i think its "ossible" but i dont know how well it will work for your purposes

i "linked "a fd 8 with a dmt 8 using one as master other as slave in order to free up some tracks for a project
however is does not act as one big recorder
and it was tricky to get machines to lock up just right
so much so that we didnt try it again although it worked once

you will need a midi cable
i would call fostex customer service they were able to help
me out
