Is it worth putting the extra money to get the Pro Audio version or is it enough to get the Home Studio one ? I am a total beginner at this.

Thanks!

I believe the home studio program has no where NEAR the features of the Pro Audio one. Check the Cakewalk website for more info.

The nice thing about Cakewalk http://www.cakewalk.com
is they have a pretty reasonable upgrade policy,
so you can go ahead and get Cakewalk Home,
and if you get inspired go for Cake pro9.

WARNING: word on the street (okay word in forums)
is that Cake is coming out with a new product
on Jan. 15, so lets all hope it is cool. David

If you buy Home studio, I think It runs about 100
bucks, maybe cheaper. If you register, you can upgrade
to Pro Audio for 99 bucks. That means you can get
Cakewalk for less than 200 bucks!! Go figure. David
