Is it worth upgrading to Audition From Cool Edit??

Hey there, was wondering if anyone can help me... I have been using Cool Edit 2.0 for nearly 2 years now and was wondering if it was worth 'upgrading' to audition?? so basically, does audition have any new/modified features that would be useful to me, or is it more a case of Adobe putting their name to it.

Any help appreciated.

Lee

I've recently decided not to upgrade from AA1.5 to AA 2.0.

My favorite program so far is Cool Edit 2.1. But AA 1.5 has features I value, so I'm going to continue to use both of them.

But there are programmes like Burrrn which can convert from FLAC and burn in one process as well as burning from wav files and it's free, so why bother?

AA 2.0 -- the interface is confusing and inconvenient. it's hard to dock panels where you want them and they take up too much space now. there's no big-time upgrade here aside from asio. just a crappy interface makeover. i wish you could put the cool edit skin on the new sdobe audition.

I just upgraded to AA 2.0.......................I LOVE IT!!!

The routing and sends are great.
You may have to upgrade memory as well.

If you dont go to AA 2.0 upgrade to AA 1.5 I think you can do it for something like $60..

My thoughts exactly, Trp (W)!

Upgrade to AA 1.5 for similar look to Cool Edit. I do wish Adobe had put Asio support on 1.5 for input monitoring with effects though.

timboZ, Robby - I deleted your responses to CjOker, cuz they didn't make any sense after I deleted his/her posts. Hope you don't mind.
