Fuzz effect

Hey guys, I was wondering what pedal would give me a modern fuzz sound, like Matt Bellmay of muse has? I need a thick fuzz/noise sound, not distortion or overdrive. Cheers.

I don't know what pedal you should get, but if you need it for recording, all you need is a bit crusher plug in.

big muff pi. I know its modeled for vintage but I just toyed around with it and got some weird sort of modern fuzz results. I don't know if its what you're looking for probably don't go buy it.

bit crusher = fuzz? not in my experience. you have a sound clip?

I believe Matt uses a Z-Vex Fuzz Factory.

If I`m not mistaken I think the Lead guitar in Muse, has several OD pedals activated at the same time, sure sounds like it.

Ever tried it, its really cool, you can also get.
I`ve only combined my mesa heads gain with a Danelectro Fab-Tone, and it was wild.

Something simular should get you close,.
