Latency
Latency
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3 basic questions...im so slow. With my Tascam US 122: 1) should Direct Monitoring give me practically zero latency? 2) Which driver of the following would minimise latency if i were to avoid direct monitoring? ASIO multimedia 16 bit ASIO 24 Bit ASIO 3) Are audio pops and drop outs a result of me setting my latency too low? Thanks guys

1) yes
2) 16 bit ASIO or 24 bit ASIO (depending on whether you want 16 bit or 24 bit audio quality) 3) yes (to a degree). setting low latency is causing you computer to use more processing power....which can make it skip and pop |
