Magnecord Bulk Eraser

I'm watching an old Magnecord Bulk Eraser on (local) evilbay.......... http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Magnecord-Bul...QQcmdZViewItem ............. it will apparently handle 10" dia tape but I have no idea what it's capabilities are re maximum tape width.

Does anyone have any knowledge as to whether something like this may handle 1" tape?
