mpc2K zip

Sup fam

I've been working my mpc2000 (not the XL) for while now...but have a lil problem...

When saving my beats (save .all, save .aps) to zip... I give my beats different names...but my mpc keeps telling me a file with the same name already exists...

So here I am...100-250MB zip disks...all with just a few MBs of data on 'em, because I can't save more then one beat on a disk...

I've been RTFM, and the only thing I can think of to solve this...is making a whole lot of partitions...one for each beat...

or save my sequences programs and sounds...instead of the .all and .aps ...

damn I don't even know...

Any 2k users wanna help out?
thnx

peace

Mo-Kay

OK...for anyone interested... I figured it out...

it has nothing to do with partitions or whatever....

you can just save .all and .aps files...but you have to name them before saving (for instance using the OPEN WINDOW button), and commit the name using the ENTER button...

peace
