How would you EQ this clip?

Hi,

I made a really short clip to show you how my guitar generally sounds in my recordings. I use a POD 2.0 connected directed to my (stock) line-in jack. I guess it doesn't sound THAT bad considering it's a really cheap soundcard.

As for the bass, I'm so-so satisfied with the sound. I can't get a *good* sound to start with, so this is probably as good as it's going to be. I think it's fine for now.

The drums are what bother me the most. This is (I think) an improvement over my last recording (which I asked feedback for from this same forum a while ago), but you guys are really the last word.

I was messing with this clip's EQ, but I don't really know what to do to it. Can anybody help me?

I listened to the clip. I think its more of a mixing issue than eq. Guitars are ok, bass a little low and thin, drums a little distant sounding. I dont mean to be critical. Very well played music even thouigh its not my type. I would try to work on getting the mix a little tighter and then you may not have to worry about eq? Maybe Im goofy?, just my 2 cents.

Thanks a lot bro. I really appreciate your input.

I'll try and see what I can do about the drums and the bass.

Ditto...the bass is very hidden and the spacing doesn't sound right to me. Fill in the band then start moving the instruments around a little.

Ok, I sort of took a stab at improving the mix according to what you guys said.

Do you think this *is* an improvement over the last clip?
