Control Surface (B-Control)

Hello!

I’ve been using the search to look on the forum for answers but I can’t find what I’m after so I thought I’d make a post some questions about the Behringer B-Control BCF2000. The Adobe Manual that is on the website has led me to believe that the B-Control is only used with Midi, is this true? Or can it control the audio mixer on Cubase SX3 so that I could mix 8 channels volume at once for example? What else is it capable of? Anyone who’s got one, or any other control surface, what other functions can you assign them to?
