That sound! that keeps showing itself in trance you know the
lead synth that plays the melody part? How do I get it do I need a analog synth. People keep on saying get a sampler but I dont want a sample of a pre done lead peice I want to play it with the real thing?

Either get a JP-8000 or get the Vintage Synth expansion board. Both are Awesome!!! Heres the thing with the sampler: Record a part of a song with that "lead" that you like. Import that to Cubase. Use Cubase to filter out the frequency range that cuts into the "lead", leaving the "sound" that you want.

Send that sound to a sampler via Recycle, and call it a day. Now you have that "lead" that you want.
