Yeap...you can Rewire them. I don't know if FL has Rewire so check it out.

you'd need to do a click track in fruity loops and export it as a wav file then import that into cubase and do the same thing with your bass track, export as wav then import into cubase.
I do all my drums in fruity loops then export each drum/cymbal as a wav file and import them into cubase then start recording my live guitars.bass.vox/etc over the top. Works well if you have good samples to work with and a knowledge of drumming....you don't want that hihat peddling away during the tom rolls n stuff...ya know |

Yeah i prefer the drums samples on Ableton to some of the LM 7 stuff so i just midi it up in Ableton and import as wav.

Um, I don't know about all that crazy exporting click tracks and whatnot, you can just load fruity loops as a vst instrument in cubase. then you can use any sample from fruity loops in cubase's sequencer.
Also, cubase itself is as powerful a sequencer as you'd need, so I don't see why you'd sequence something in fruity loops only to import it into cubase. seems like a whole lot of unnecessary steps to me. |

Yeah if you have at least Fruity Loops 3.5 you can just use as a vst instrument. You can sequence fruity side by side with cubase arrangement in real-time. Basically it shows up as a new mixer channel in cubase.
It really easy if you already are pretty familar with both software. If your not sure I can tell you how to do it. |

ooh, please, I just ran into this yesterday. I was hoping to run FL for the drum loops, just to keep the guitar player on tempo, he doesnt do click tracks to well. When I loaded it, it said re-wire, but i dont know where to go from there, ideas?

didn't realise you could use it in rewire mode.
I've been using ver 3.4 for long enough now. I just always exported each seperate track of drums as .wav files and import them into cubase so I could use Drumagog on the insert to change the samples randomly and make it sound more human. Anybody want to talk through the steps in setting it up right? |

-> Panels, then click -> VST instruments I don't think Cubase LE has the same Windows layout as Cubase VST/32, but if you search through your menu handles you should be able to find something like VST instruments as an option. If you do then Click on where it saids "No VST Instrument". If you have fruity loops installed right it should show up as an option in this menu. Sorry I couldn't be more specific ![]() Maybe some else will have more experience with cubase LE |
