Ghost Writing

Heres an idea tell me if its wack.In my city there are a few open mics here and there.I want to get on as a beatmaker but not as a rapper. If I got some one to write me a real banger and really get my delivery down right would that help get more attention for my work?I'm quite sure this happens alot but is not talked about.I feel like I'd be cheating but we dont punish other types of music for this.Just getting a dialog started.

I'd have a hard time using lyrics that I didn't write, however I consider myself a writer/producer. With that being said, if your not a writer and it doesn't bother you go for it. But on the real, here's another idea. Find some local cats to do a project with, have them perform the song at the open mic nights and give you a shout out during the performance. That way, one of the best case scenerio's are as time goes by some of the other acts come to you for tracks and hell... you might be the producer behind all of the open mic night acts as well as some scheduled gigs.

don't worry about it... Everyone does it just about. P. Diddy doesn't write all his verses, Snoop wrote a lot of everything even on the Chronic. Jay Z wrote shit for Foxy Brown. Run DMC wrote alot of the early Beasties stuff. The list goes on.

I'm kind of concerned with the subject matter that could be performed over my tracks. Its hard to find people that rap about positive things in my city. Its alot of people claiming gangster and player.I need some body that has lyrical skills and that right energy.I have an idea of what I want thats why I thought about trying myself.

Would you buy fake Jordans or Bapes?

Its a lot of sites that sale them and they out selling them on the street.I checked them out .i knew they was fake but the quality was on point. They price was on point too. What do you think about it.Or any thing else fake for that matter, not music related.
