OK... A guy on Ebay was selling his VF80 (No CDR/W) 'As-Is/Waterdamaged' on account of it got completely submerged in his flooded basement...

He figured best case it needed a new Hard Drive, worst case, it would be totally FUBAR...

Since I am having trouble finding replacement sliders for my VF16, I went ahead and bid, figuring I can use it for parts...

Well... It came in the mail today and WORKS PERFECTLY!!!!

So... I'm out a whole $20.50 (plus shipping) for a fully functional VF80

Congrats on the good deal! I have been sniped a couple times on there, so I don't bid anymore... I just look at the weird shit people put up there!

Just stay out of, I think it was called, the RANTS section. MY wife was looking around there the other day. People were posting photos of the "fun" they had over the weekend. Not safe for work.
