Cool Edit Multitrack
Hello all you masters of pretty much everything....i have a question about the cool edit multitrack. For some reason i can't get anything to pick up when i try to record in the multitrack screen. Then when i'm in the normal waveform recording screen i can record! Ah.... I also noticed that when i'm recording on the waveform screen the signal is just mono, then when i switch to the multitrack it switches to stereo? Dont know if that has anything to do with stuff. Thanks for the help if you knows whats going on here!

Okay, for a start, the two views in Cool Edit are called Multitrack and Edit. Yeah, yeah - Normal Waveform Screen is pretty cool, but it's not a recognized term that's used by people who use the software.

Okay, no matter which View you're in, when you click on Options>Device Properties, make sure you've selected the correct ins and outs on your soundcard for Wave Out and Wave In.
