Question about tapes
I have a Fostex X-28 and i am new to this. I was wondering if there was a special kind of tape you need to use with this machine, that is different from the normal tapes you can buy at walmart or whatever.
The reason I ask is because my 0 RTN button eventually quits keeping track of the counter, which means I can't just hit that to go back to where i started to record from. Hopefully someone on here can help. Thank you. |

Use a Type II tape, they're higher quality (less noise too). If you do enough recording, there's a guy on ebay who sells 10 packs for cheap. The return button would have nothing to do with the tape you're using.

Any other suggestions as to what I should do to resolve the 0 RTN issue?
It works for a little while then quits. |
