Triple C Stereo MB Comp - Anyone using this?
I bought a TC Electronic Triple C Stereo Multi-Band Compressor from Sam Ash a couple years ago. I find it does a pretty nice job on my vocals when tracking, and for mixdown it gives me a pretty smooth even mix.
They are discontinued now - never did figure out why - maybe they were too much like the Finalizer or never sold enough units or problems (I've had none). I haven't heard very many comments about this unit on these forums. I'm wondering if anyone else here uses one and maybe you can provide some comments - good/bad/gem/crap. ![]() |

I've got one. I think it does fine. Very useable in the chain. I especially liked the presets when I was starting out.
I was wondering why it was discontinued too. Oh well, as long as it works, I guess we're in, huh? And I do believe you're the only other guy I've "met" that has one. Who knows, maybe we're the only two who bought em! ![]() |
