Triple C Stereo MB Comp - Anyone using this?

I bought a TC Electronic Triple C Stereo Multi-Band Compressor from Sam Ash a couple years ago. I find it does a pretty nice job on my vocals when tracking, and for mixdown it gives me a pretty smooth even mix.

They are discontinued now - never did figure out why - maybe they were too much like the Finalizer or never sold enough units or problems (I've had none).

I haven't heard very many comments about this unit on these forums. I'm wondering if anyone else here uses one and maybe you can provide some comments - good/bad/gem/crap.

I've got one. I think it does fine. Very useable in the chain. I especially liked the presets when I was starting out.

I was wondering why it was discontinued too. Oh well, as long as it works, I guess we're in, huh? And I do believe you're the only other guy I've "met" that has one. Who knows, maybe we're the only two who bought em!

Well, with so few posts you might be right. Maybe that's why they discontinued them, they only sold a few, lol. Oh well, glad you like it too Dogbreath.
